The Back knives are chips of wide sheets, at which a rim one has been employed with abrupt finishing touch. The Back knives are typical of the industry lítica of the Average Paleolithic, especially of the Musteriense of Tradition Achelense type B, precisely the one that supposes that it passes to its transformation in the Châtelperroniense, inside already of the Initial Top Paleolithic. Also a type exists called knife of natural back characterized for having its back formed by cortex or natural crust of the singing counterfoil that can be perpendicular or lightly oblícuo as regards the face ventral.
