Cucuyagua is a municipality in the department of Copán, in Honduras.
Cocollagua turned by us into Cucuyagua, is the name of Cocolhuacan that it means "Place that has business or complaints". [2]

The municipality is adjacent to the north to the municipality of Santa Rosa of Copán, on the south to the municipality of Saint Peter, to the east to the municipalities of The Flowers and Talgua and on the west to the municipality of The Union. [3] Is placed to the east of the Vale of its name and to the margin of the Rio Alax or Cucuyagua
One believes that it was in 1750; in the inventory of 1791 it appears like people of the Parish of Sensenti and in the Division of 1889 it was already appearing as District. [2]
